Blue Line wins an export award!

We are proud that we won the Vitus Award at the Danish Export Day in 2018.

Our CEO/Partner Niels and CTO Manager/Partner Jørgen received the award from the Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, which backs the award.

Blue Line receives the Vitus award

The selection of Blue Line as the winner was especially based on the company’s ability to covert ideas into concrete results for our customers. We were pleased that this was emphasised because our focus on close dialogues with customers and cooperation partners is precisely part of the procedures in all of our processes. Blue Line’s scaling for other countries and obtaining orders and new customers was also mentioned as part of the reason.

In addition to the selection, Niels participated in a panel discussion and shared Blue Line’s experience with kick-starting in new markets.

Vitus is a consulting programme, which helps small and medium-sized businesses kick-start export and gain a foothold in specific markets within the period of a year.

During Blue Line’s participation in the programme, we have won significant orders in the UK, Ireland, China and Canada, and have also identified strategic projects with a potentially larger order value. The growth has resulted in the establishment of our own office in Ireland, which also serves the UK Benelux.

“With the VITUS programme, Blue Line’s development has picked up more speed than anticipated. In the beginning, it was a long, hard slog with many considerations and introductory market analyses. The first interviews in the market gave us valuable knowledge, but no customer meetings. The Danish Embassy in Dublin really made a breakthrough in the market with a series of meetings. It worked, and the result was more significant orders and projects in the pipeline. The effort has now resulted in meetings and orders in a number of other countries,” says Niels Pedersen, CEO at Blue Line.
