Roughly 70 HMIs at the site were reaching their end-of-life cycle (5-6 years) and required replacing.

The client’s site operates 24/7 and downtime had to be kept to an absolute minimum.

The need for minimal downtime necessitated careful planning and consideration from the client and Blue Line.

Since the changeover had to occur within a two-week timeframe, delivery had to happen within a tight schedule.

Through a collaborative effort, the client and Blue Line crafted an expedient solution. A carefully planned batch delivery schedule was devised to align with the two-week timeframe.

By relying on a strategy of segmented deliveries the client was able to recieve the newer HMIs and integrate them into the preexisting system architecture on time.
